January 19, 2023: Mahwah, NJ 07430 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights (Old Tappan, NJ) and the host Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), saw NV - Old Tappan's basketball squad wallop Mahwah by a tally of 64-39.
With the victory, NV - Old Tappan improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Golden Knights host Clifton (Clifton, NJ) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 13-4.
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) in a Big North - Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Mahwah will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record.
