California High School Basketball - Palma holds off Alisal
January 19, 2023: Salinas, CA 93905 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) and the host Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA), saw Palma's basketball squad hold off Alisal by a tally of 53-47.
With the victory, Palma improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA) to confront the Eagles in a challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Everett Alvarez lost 60-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Carmel (Carmel, CA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, January 23. Alisal will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Dores come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Carmel (Carmel, CA).
