Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penns Manor tops Central Mountain

Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), 53-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Penns Manor upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to play the Red Dragons in a Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Red Dragons come into the bout with a record of 4-9.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a Heartland I bout, on Saturday, January 21. Central Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 60-54 league loss to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA).
