The Elwood Panthers tipped the host Wes-Del Warriors basketball team by a final score of 42-40 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN) in a Central Indiana game, on Saturday, January 21. Elwood will attempt to move on its 2-18 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 5-15 record after their 54-38 league loss to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN).
