Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Warren crushes Oil City

January 19, 2023: Warren, PA 16365

Warren Dragons (Warren, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 60-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Warren upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Dragons host Meadville (Meadville, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Oilers clash with the Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 bout, on Monday, January 23. Oil City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 55-53 league win over Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA).
