Colorado High School Basketball - Vail Mountain overwhelms Battle Mountain
January 19, 2023: Vail, CO 81657 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) and the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), saw Vail Mountain's basketball squad wallop Battle Mountain by a tally of 59-36.
With the victory, Vail Mountain improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Gore Rangers host Aspen (Aspen, CO) to play the Skiers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Skiers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Huskies play the Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) in a challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Battle Mountain will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Chatfield (Littleton, CO).
