Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Union Knights/Damsels (Rimersburg, PA), 36-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Karns City upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Gremlins travel to Brookville (Brookville, PA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Brookville won 33-6 in their recent non-league bout against Brockway (Brockway, PA)
