January 19, 2024: Atlanta, MI 49709 Wolverine Wildcats (Wolverine, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Atlanta Huskies (Atlanta, MI), 65-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wolverine upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Alanson (Alanson, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Northern Lakes bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Alanson won 77-42 in their recent league bout against North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Atlanta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 40-32 league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI).
