In Friday's league match, the host Branchville Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a tight 48-45 triumph over the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets meet the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC) in a A Region 7 match, on Monday, January 22. Branchville will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
