January 19, 2024: Battle Creek, NE 68715 In Friday's non-league outing, the Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears (Laurel, NE), by a margin of 90-60.
The Braves (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pierce (Pierce, NE). The Bluejays go into the C1 District 8 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Pierce was trounced by Lakeview (Columbus, NE), 51-45, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 57-36 non-league win over Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-3.
