Oklahoma High School Basketball - Stigler tops Checotah
January 19, 2024: Checotah, OK 74426 Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), 44-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stigler upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Muldrow (Muldrow, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Muldrow won 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against McAlester (McAlester, OK)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Stilwell Indians (Stilwell, OK) in a NOAA bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Checotah will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 56-48 non-league win over Inola (Inola, OK).
