The Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) basketball nipped the host Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), 60-55 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons go into the AAAAAAA Region 8 test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Dacula was tipped by Buford (Buford, GA), 59-47, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Central Gwinnett for a AAAAAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 23. Mill Creek will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 56-37 league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-11.
