Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE) and the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), saw Syracuse's basketball squad wallop Fairbury by a count of 59-24.

With the victory, Syracuse upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rockets host Arlington (Arlington, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20.
