January 19, 2024: Fairmont, NC 28340 The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes routed the visiting St. Pauls Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 80-58 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes face the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) in a 2A Southeastern game, on Tuesday, January 23. Fairmont will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 7-9 record after their 58-31 league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC).
With the defeat, St. Pauls moves to 7-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to face the Knights in a 2A Southeastern contest on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 13-1. West Bladen won 56-31 in their recent league contest against Midway (Dunn, NC)
