Vermont High School Basketball - Springfield nudges Green Mountain
January 19, 2024: Springfield, VT 05156 Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), 55-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Cosmos travel to Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH) to clash with the in a Southern Vermont - C bout on Tuesday, January 23. The go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Rivendell Academy won 78-52 in their recent league bout against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT)
Next up, the Chieftains clash with the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Green Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
