New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer fells Hatch Valley
January 19, 2024: Hatch, NM 87937 Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), 59-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Springer upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Logan (Logan, NM) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Logan won 83-31 in their recent non-league bout against Quemado (Quemado, NM)
Next up, the Bears play the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Hatch Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 83-31 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
