January 19, 2024: Hillsboro, KS 67063 Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS), 51-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Trojans host Eureka (Eureka, KS) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Eureka won 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Republic County (Belleville, KS)
Next up, the Falcons play the Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Riley County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, KS).
