Alabama High School Basketball - Thompson tops Hoover
January 19, 2024: Alabaster, AL 35007 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) and the visiting Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), saw Thompson's basketball squad knock off Hoover by a tally of 65-55.
With the victory, Thompson improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 7A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-12. Tuscaloosa County lost 68-22 in their recent league challenge against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL) in a 7A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 21-3 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 68-22 league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL).
