South Dakota High School Basketball - Lakota Tech knocked off by Hot Springs
January 19, 2024: Pine Ridge, SD 57770 The Hot Springs Bison basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Lakota Tech Tatanka to 65 in the Bison non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bison now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lead-Deadwood for a A Region 8 contest on Saturday, January 20. Hot Springs will battle a Golddiggers team coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Golddiggers record now stands at 3-8.
The Tatanka (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs enter the A Region 7 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Little Wound ran past Wakpala (Wakpala, SD), 76-62, in a non-league contest.
