West Virginia High School Basketball - Wasatch Academy nips Huntington Prep
January 19, 2024: Huntington, WV 25704 Wasatch Academy Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, UT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Huntington Prep Kings (Huntington, WV), 87-80 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wasatch Academy upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Desert Valley Prep (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Silver Miners in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Silver Miners come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Kings play the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Huntington Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
