Utah High School Basketball - South Summit can't hold off Morgan
January 19, 2024: Morgan, UT 84050 The Morgan Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting South Summit Wildcats to 55 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ben Lomond for a 3A Region 13 contest on Wednesday, January 24. Morgan will battle a Scots team coming off a 67-60 league loss to Grantsville (Grantsville, UT). The Scots record now stands at 5-11.
The Wildcats (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Roosevelt, UT). The Cougars come into the 3A Region 13 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Union was nudged by Ogden (Ogden, UT), 70-61, in a league contest.
