The Timberlake Christian Tornadoes basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs to 44 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy for a Virginia Christian - Southeast contest on Tuesday, January 23. Timberlake Christian will battle a Ospreys team coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA). The Ospreys record now stands at 9-5.
The Bulldogs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage Academy dropped by Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA), 58-47, in a non-league contest.
