The Benicia Panthers basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Las Lomas Knights to 29 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Benicia will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 35-33 league loss to Albany (Albany, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-12.

The Knights (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Eagles come into the Diablo contest with a 14-5 record.
