The Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) basketball crushed the visiting St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC), 58-36 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Eagles go into the A Region 8 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Military Magnet Academy was trounced by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 49-39, in a non-league test.

The Islanders now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lowcountry Leadership for a A Region 8 test on Monday, January 22. St. John's will encounter a NaviGators squad coming off a 67-22 league loss to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC). The NaviGators record now stands at 0-11.
