Michigan High School Basketball - Grosse Pointe South tops Utica Eisenhower
January 19, 2024: Shelby Township, MI 48316 Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI), 60-51 in a league bout.
With the victory, Grosse Pointe South upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a Macomb Area - Red bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Norsemen come into the bout with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Eagles play the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Utica Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 42-37 league win over Port Huron (Port Huron, MI).
