Louisiana High School Basketball - Holden tops Slaughter Community Charter
January 19, 2024: Holden, LA 70744 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Holden Rockets (Holden, LA) and the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), saw Holden's basketball squad knock off Slaughter Community Charter by a tally of 53-33.
With the victory, Holden improves its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Rockets host Maurepas (Maurepas, LA) to play the Wolves in a B District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Knights play the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
