Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) and the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), saw Waukon's basketball squad overcome New Hampton by a tally of 60-52.

With the victory, Waukon improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Crestwood (Cresco, IA) to confront the Cadets in a Northeast Iowa challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Crestwood lost 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)
