Wisconsin High School Basketball - Tomahawk knocked off by Northland Pines
January 19, 2024: Eagle River, WI 54521 The Northland Pines Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Tomahawk Hatchets to 23 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gillett for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Northland Pines will battle a Tigers team coming off a 44-32 league loss to Crivitz (Crivitz, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
The Hatchets (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Three Lakes ran past Hurley (Hurley, WI), 37-33, in a non-league contest.
