Washington High School Basketball - Northwest nips South Whidbey
January 19, 2024: Langley, WA 98260 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest House (Seattle, WA) and the host South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), saw Northwest's basketball squad hold off South Whidbey by a count of 36-33.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The House host University Prep (Seattle, WA) to play the Pumas in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge on Monday, January 22. The Pumas come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. University Prep won 41-28 in their recent league challenge against Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Concrete Lions (Concrete, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. South Whidbey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 55-45 non-league loss to Lopez (Lopez, WA).
