The Dakota Cougars basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Port Huron Red Hawks to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utica Eisenhower for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Red Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
