California High School Basketball - Desert Hot Springs tops Xavier Prep
January 19, 2024: Palm Desert, CA 92211 Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA), 53-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Desert Hot Springs upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA) to play the Lions in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Saints play the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Xavier Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rattlers come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 68-49 non-league loss to San Jacinto Leadership Academy (San Jacinto, CA).
