Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) and the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), saw Iroquois's basketball squad hold off Northwestern by a tally of 45-41.

With the victory, Iroquois improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Braves host Girard (Girard, PA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
