Arizona High School Soccer - South Mountain nudges Higley
January 19, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85040 South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) fans were pleased Friday as they saw their soccer squad get by the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 3-2 in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfax for a test on Monday, January 22. South Mountain will meet a Stampede squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Stampede record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Higley drops to 0-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ) to meet the Colts in a test on Wednesday, January 24. The Colts come into the test with a record of 7-1. Casteel won 6-0 in their recent league test against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ)
