Rhode Island High School Basketball - Pilgrim knocks off Hoosac Valley
January 19, 2025: Warwick, RI 02888 The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) and the visiting Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA), observed Pilgrim's basketball team overcome Hoosac Valley by a score of 74-62.
The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Mariners come into the Division II challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Narragansett dropped by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 69-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles (Easthampton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Hoosac Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
