In Sunday's non-league contest, the host Lycee Francais de Chicago basketball team scored a good 72-63 triumph over the MCC Crescents.

The (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Waldorf (Chicago, IL). The Thunder go into the Lakeshore contest with a 3-8 record.

In their next game, the Crescents confront the Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL) in a Metro Prep challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. MCC will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 56-45 non-league win over Disney II (Chicago, IL).
