Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Neighborhood Academy triumphant over Riverview
January 19, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15224 The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Neighborhood Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Riverview Raiders (Oakmont, PA), observed Neighborhood Academy's basketball team overwhelm Riverview by a score of 67-39.
The (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Greyhounds come into the WPIAL 1A 2 challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Monessen trounced Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA), 63-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Frazier Commodores (Perryopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Riverview will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 59-35 league loss to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA).
