South Dakota High School Basketball - Hanson edges Canistota
January 20, 2022: Alexandria, SD 57311 The Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), 61-60 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Beavers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] got by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 76-58, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Castlewood for a non-league test on Saturday, January 22. Canistota will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 83-55 non-league win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.
