New Jersey High School Basketball - Hackensack can't hold off Bergen Tech
January 20, 2022: Hackensack, NJ 07601 The Bergen Tech Knights basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Hackensack Comets to 30 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mary Help of Christians Academy for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 21. Bergen Tech will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 53-11 league win over Lacordaire Academy (Upper Montclair, NJ). The Blue Jays record now stands at 4-3.
The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Saddle River Day edged Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
