South Dakota High School Basketball - Faulkton overwhelms Ipswich
January 20, 2022: Ipswich, SD 57451 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) and the host Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), saw Faulkton's basketball squad wallop Ipswich by a count of 54-27.
With the victory, Faulkton upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Northwestern Area lost 64-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 22. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 38-31 non-league win over Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD).
