In Thursday's league outing, the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) basketball squad edged the host Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), by a count of 36-35.

The Thunderbirds (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT). The Bullets go into the Mountain outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Bellows Free Academy held off Twinfield (Plainfield, VT), 34-33, in a non-league outing.
