The Monson Mustangs basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Palmer Panthers to 28 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granby for a Bi-County - Central contest on Tuesday, January 25.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield (Greenfield, MA). The Green Wave enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
