January 20, 2023: Waco, TX 76708 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bosqueville Bulldogs (Waco, TX) and the visiting Bruceville-Eddy Eagles (Eddy, TX), saw Bosqueville's basketball squad wallop Bruceville-Eddy by a tally of 72-27.
With the victory, Bosqueville improves its record to 20-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chilton (Chilton, TX) to play the Pirates in a 2A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Chilton lost 63-44 in their recent league challenge against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) in a 2A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Bruceville-Eddy will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 64-60 league loss to Bosqueville (Waco, TX).
