California High School Basketball - Clovis West overwhelms Buchanan
January 20, 2023: Clovis, CA 93611 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) and the host Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), saw Clovis West's basketball squad wallop Buchanan by a tally of 80-40.
With the victory, Clovis West improves its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Clovis (Clovis, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Clovis won 46-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington Union (Fresno, CA)
Next up, the Bears confront the Clovis North Broncos (Fresno, CA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Buchanan will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 79-70 non-league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
