North Carolina High School Basketball - Cary Academy knocked off by Carmel Christian

January 20, 2023: Cary, NC 27513

The Carmel Christian Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Cary Academy Chargers to 54 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Carmel Christian will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 73-64 league loss to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-12.

The Chargers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC). The Ravens enter the NCISAA Triangle contest with a 20-3 record.
