California High School Basketball - Chavez ripped by Poly

January 20, 2023: Sun Valley, CA 91352

The Poly Parrots basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Chavez Eagles to 42 in the Parrots league triumph on Friday.

The Parrots now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arleta for a East Valley contest on Monday, January 23. Poly will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 60-33 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-9.

The Eagles (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, San Fernando triumphed over Panorama (Panorama City, CA), 58-35, in a league contest.
