The Fleming Island Golden Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Clay Blue Devils to 48 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

With the victory, Fleming Island upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Providence School (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 20-1. Providence School won 63-51 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Bishop Kenny Crusaders (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
