Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) and the host Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), saw Red Springs's basketball squad wallop Fairmont by a count of 65-38.

With the victory, Red Springs upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils host St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Conference 7 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-9.

Next up, the Golden Tornadoes play the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a 2A Conference 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Fairmont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
