Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Middlesex crushes George Junior Republic
January 20, 2023: West Middlesex, PA 16159 West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting George Junior Republic (Grove City, PA), 77-49 in a league bout.
With the victory, West Middlesex upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Big Reds travel to General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. General McLane won 71-41 in their recent non-league bout against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA)
Next up, the play the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. George Junior Republic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 55-44 league win over Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
