The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Riverview Raiders to 65 in the Centurions league triumph on Friday.

The Centurions now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Serra Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Greensburg Central Catholic will meet a Eagles team coming off a 95-85 non-league loss to Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-7.

The Raiders (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Northgate ran past Laurel (New Castle, PA), 70-40, in a league contest.
