Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Guilderland Flying Dutchman (Guilderland Center, NY), 66-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Troy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Flying Horses travel to Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Averill Park lost 48-37 in their recent league bout against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY)

Next up, the Flying Dutchman play the Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Guilderland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 86-62 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY).
